Free Dorset writers’ group welcomes new members

Date:

Dorset’s writers, aspiring authors, illustrators … and anyone who simply enjoys books are invited to join a free and informal Dorset group organised by the Society of Authors.

The group meets at St Catherine’s Community Hall in Christchurch, offering a friendly place to meet other writers, hear from published authors and industry professionals and find encouragement for getting stories onto the page. There is no need to be published, or even to think of yourself as a writer.
The next meeting is on 10th October, from 10am to noon, with guest speakers Dominic Wong, director of Bournemouth Writing Festival, and Mary Hogarth, writer, media specialist and senior lecturer at Bournemouth University.
Meetings are free to attend, with free parking available at St Catherine’s Community Hall BH23 2RR
