I Am Dram
22 November, 2025 at 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm
I AM DRAM by Hannah Maxwell is coming to Powerstock Hut on Saturday 22 November at 7.30.
Adults £12.50, Under 18’s £6 (age guide 14+)
Box Office: www.artsreach.co.uk, 07755 90579 or on the door. Hilarious and touching, the show has charmed audiences across the UK, Australia and Europe.
In this award-winning storytelling show, Hannah Maxwell hops on a train back to her hometown of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, taking a whistlestop tour of 90 years of musical theatre heritage in the process.
She still remembers every line of their 2010 My Fair Lady production, but nine years in London have left her struggling to find the key.
Step-ball-changing between suburb and city, I, AmDram minds the gap between the identities we assert and the worlds we leave. Hilarious and touching, this show has been performed over 120 times, charming audiences in theatres, festivals, pubs and village halls around the world with singalongs, Gilbert & Sullivan parodies, and painfully long blackouts. I, AmDram also won a Weekly Award for Best Theatre at Adelaide Fringe in 2025.
“A heartfelt and deeply moving tribute” ★★★★ The List
“Very smart… engaging and layered.” Lyn Gardner
“Joyful & perceptive” ★★★★ The Scotsman
Age Guidance: suitable 14+ (occasional bad language, minor drug references)
Running Time: 70mins no interval
Touring Dorset with Artsreach, the county’s rural arts charity
