Martin Stewart will present “8 Generations, One Passion”, telling the story of the Stewart family business, which has been growing plants since 1742. The talk will explore how Martin’s father, Ted Stewart, brought the garden centre concept from America to Dorset, opening Britain’s first garden centre in 1955 and helping to transform horticulture in the UK.
