EVERY town in Dorset is unique but Blandford is the most unique. A grammarian might wince at that sentence, but it contains more than a grain of truth. Some other towns can boast notable architecture, some have a river at their heart, providing a beautiful open space, some have strong military connections, some have a thriving commercial life, some enjoy a powerful community spirit, some are home to a major public school, some boast not one but three major museums. But only Blandford ticks every one of these boxes.
